my char is soon to be kicked out of the Jedi Order, i think...
... any way my question is, what path would my char have to follow? because he believes in what the Jedi stand for, and still belives in their ways but has broken a very important rule and wont be able to continue with them...

The question shouldn't be what path should he follow. IF varkin still believes in what the Jedi stand for, didn't blow up half the galaxy, is remorseful for his actions and wanted to remain with the order, then he should consider atonement. At his level he wouldn't be able to do this alone and would require the aid of a knight or master. He should consult with his master or another Jedi Master about what he did. None of the Jedi are perfect and rules will be broken and are broken at times. Unless the character wants to just outright turn to the darkside or practice a route more suited for the likes of say, Cirocco, as he is a dark jedi, then the path to take is an obvious one. If he wants to stay with the order, he should look to speaking with a Master. As a padawan, he's expected to make mistakes and learn from them.
(Compared to maaaany of the characters in the history of this game, I'm sure what he did is veeeerrryy miniscule. Naboo's former Queen went dark once and wrecked havoc on the people there. She eventually parted with the darkside. There are other major examples as well. It just depends on how serious Varkin is about being a Jedi.)

No prob. Have him speak to Epsi IC sometime. She can tell him stories of many Jedi who made mistakes in the past and still remained on the path of light. (And light doesn't always equal Jedi.)

Soji, my JM chara went dark for a time (big sl) and tried to kill the JC and she atoned and is a jm again... and then there was mira... she broke as many rules as she could
