She glanced behind her in a moment of thought as she considered Eefri's suggestion of finding an alternative route. The twi'leks reaction to the door ruled that way out of the question. The easiest routes were never available in dire situations.
"I've studied the layout of the praxeum as I've been working more and more lately at our location in theed. If this lift is sealed, there has to be a secondary entrance...and exit. Where would the stairwell be in this outpost Eefri? One that would lead us down to the secured level's below?" She hoped it wasn't through the door sealed before them.
Turning around to give the group her back, she proceeded down the long hall they came through. She was familiar with the praxeum layout and noted one or two similarities here. She didn't expect everything to be the same and moved for the most part, on instinct and educated guesses. She returned to the main hall and the door they all came through initially when they were outside to glance around once again and this time, she settled on the hallway opposite of them. At it's end, a small flashing light sat a top a small panel and beside the panel, a sealed door. "Here," she called out to them as she approached the door. Like Eefri, she reached out to touch the smooth metal...and felt no heat as the Twi'lek had from the other door. The door lead to a flight of stairs that descended further than the rest though how far down it would go was the question on her mind. They'd find out soon enough.
Stepping back, she waited for Eefri to unlock the door.

A smile played over E'efris face as she nodded "yes that could work" she rushed to epsilons side and punched in the code to open the door. But nothing happend. Frowning she tried it again, and once more, but again gained no sucess. Looking up at the doors, down and t the sides she seemed to look or something. Suddenly she said " step back please". Yes, E'efri was always polite where ivroy would have said " move your ass" she said "step aside please". She waited for a moment until epsilon had stepped aside then drew a sabre and ignited the cyan blade. The doors were blast safe but not nessesarly sabre proof. it would be hard work and take a few minutes but she eventually cut a hole into the doors that were big enough for all of them to pass through. "There" she said and stepped back.
Ivory held herself in the back, her arm was in agony, she didnt knew what had caused this pain, but she hid it deep within herself not letting anyone know not even epsilon who always had a special bond witht he smaller spawn. After eefri had finally melted the Door down, she nodded grimly, still wearing her shades and says " maybe i should go first i can see in the dark" which was the reason for her shades bright light caused her headaches and even with shades at night she still saw everything like it was a cloudy day.

would wait leaning against the corridor wall as Eefri was opening the door. He couldn't help but feel out of place, his eyes scanned every member of the group one by one. They were all stronger in the force than he, higher rank's too. He was about to speak his mind as Eefri opens the door but then sides against it "it probably would of been a stupid thing to do anyhow" his inner voice says as he takes a few steps toward the door... It wasn't obvious to those who didn't know him that well, that he was feeling a bit anxious, nervous but those who knew him those that were quite close to him would probably be able to see it in him even though he tried not to show it.
Just before stepping through the door he looks to Ivory offering her a reassuring nod, she looked fine her face a stern mask as always so he thought nothing of it and proceeded behind the red Twi'lek and into the dark. He could barely see what was in front of him so he sticks close to her, for all he knew this place could be a labyrinth of dark twisted corridors, he shakes his head slightly clearing that thought from his mind he had to focus on the task in hand. "what do you see?" he whispers to Eefri in a all but to curious tone.

"No Ivory," she called out as she stood to the side. "Stay in the back with me." With that, she gestured to the opening, "Eefri, would you do us the honors? Your saber should provide enough of a lighting source to illuminate the path before us." With that, she moved towards the rear of the group while removing her own lightsaber. Igniting it, she took up the rear to keep some light shining from that position as well.
Once they started moving, they'd find the stairwells empty, almost dismal and dreary in feel. Above, emergency lights, spread every 8 to 10 feet apart cast a low light, offering more of a feel of track lights than anything else. She leaned over to stare down the center of the stairwell. What she saw would be rather discouraging to most. The stairs descended endlessly, winding around until darkness blurred with the occasional track light. This would be quite the journey downward.
An uneasy feeling settled over her as she followed the group. The silence of the stairwell was as loud as the sounds of their feet against the surfaces of each step. "How do you feel?" she murmured to Ivory. While Ivory hid her pain, she knew well what the effects of this place would do to Ivory. Her own body had begun to ache, the discomfort radiating primarily along her arms and back though for the time being, it was merely a dull pain she could easily ignore. Ivory's would be worse at this point.
As they continued moving, her gaze settled on Ivory's arm just as a rumble shook the stairwell they stood on. The area shook and vibrated and metal groaned under the weight of the vibrations. The sound and tremble had originated from down below and now, her uneasy feeling sharpened into a warning from the force. "We need to move...fast." The rumble had been an explosion and now threatened the foundation of the stairwell.

ooc: sorry about not being in the room last weekend. work had me pretty gutted. Will definitely try to be on this weekend. sorry again))
"Then let's move faster."
And with that, Cirocco Force jumps several meters down the winding stairs. With blades already lit and in hand, he bounds off the stairs, quickly making his way down towards his objective. He knew he had to move fast as well. He was playing a very high stakes game in using his rage as a shield. He had to walk a very fine line between keeping it powerful enough to force back the call of the Staff and losing himself completely in the berserker madness. One lapse in concentration and he would lose... everything. But high risks were offset by high gain. He didn't trust any of his current companions to do what would be needed. And so he pressed on. Further into the complex. Further towards his target. Further. Into darkness.

Their objective, or at least the point in which the stairwell ended lay a kilometer below. Cirocco's thoughts were not lost to Epsilon. She too had intended to make haste of their trek downward by leaping over the rail and freefalling a few meters as well. Cracks formed along the walls of the stairwell far below and dust shook off the walls as another rumble stirred the stairwell from a second blast. As she passed one staircase, it split awkwardly in two, cracking in a jagged manner. This staircase wouldn't be safe for long.
With aid of the force, she slowed her descent and caught herself on a rail. Hauling herself up with one hand as the other still held the lit saber, she slung one leg, then the second over and stood there for a moment to peek up and ensure the others were following before breaking into a run down the stairs. They didn't have much time and while she could have continued to free fall, taking a chance on the possibility that the ground below was not at a risk of cracking without her seeing it clearly was a chance she was unwilling to take. From this distance, closer to the bottom of the stairwell, the echoing yells of males and females could be heard. They were dulled, as if they came from a distance away though the fact that they could hear voices was a sign that they were headed in the right direction.
Cirocco's rage was a magnet, a pulling force that invited what soon called out to him. As he drew closer, a promise of power responded to his shield of rage. The staff whispered to the darksider a simple word it had used to call others; "Come." In his mind, an image would form, Cirocco enraged like no other, the staff gripped like a trophy, the power of the darkside swirling around him like a tornado, the bodies of weak Jedi, most unworthy to handle what he now held, dead at his feet and the rest, kneeling before him, pledging allegiance, following his way of life.
The staff offered power, offered control and with the simple word whispered to Cirocco's mind came the pull of the staff, a tempting nectar of power that caressed Cirocco's fury, urging it into blinding berserker rage. Those around him, following him on his descent could not...WOULD not do what was necessary.
The staff urged one thing of him-He had to eliminate them.

sorry for delay))
eefri had agreed and ignited her twin sabre blades and illuminated the way in a ghostly silver color as she stepped through the door and started down the stairs. she moved carefully with the famous grace of the female twilek. it was said that just the normal walk of a female twilek could wake some desires in other beings. But of course eefri had no such intentsions. She walked down holding the sabres abover her head.
As epsi called herback ivory stopped behind, aand while she smiedl to varkin a short reassuring smile, she made a face at epsilons inquiry "im not feeling well at all, i have headaches and the feeling the walls are closing in around me, and yes my arm hurts like hell, it feels almost likea piece of dead wood" she grimaces and stops at the ground shaking "varking run with me" she would aid her paddie to pick up force run, so he would go down faster, soemtihng he couldnt possibly do on his won. aheahd she could see eefri grabbing for varkins hand to help him down as well. together the three jedi dashed down the stairs like water poored down in a haste

continues to walk down the dark corridor with caution he could of sworn he heard Ivory say she wasn't okay, but then again he had been hearing stuff of recent and she looked like her self so he thought nothing of it. The grounds begins to shake, he looks around bracing himself but it didn't stop it was now when he heard his Masters voice come from behind him, he looks back to her... "okay" he simply adds with a slight nod of the head and began to sprint down the corridor with the help of Ivory he ran faster than ever before and he was already fast for a human so he made it to the red Twi'lek in no time. He was curious about what made him run so fast but this was not the time nor place, for idle chit-chat.
He takes Eefri's hand as she guides him down the collapsing spiral staircase, Ivory behind him the whole way which was very comforting, knowing a Jedi Master was covering his back was the safest thing he could of wished for.
The tree were running and jumping over the missing parts of the staircase with haste, it would not take them long to reach the solid ground below. The question was though, how much longer would the Staircase remain intact? He didn't dwell on the idea of plunging to his death no, instead he just focused on the now sprinting as fast as his legs would carry him down to safety.
