Link To The Past
"Artifact" linked to the past. Allows one being, pure of heart, good of intention and compassionate of spirit to live for a moment, the life of another. The life of one of the most Noble of Nobles. A deceased Guardian of Life. A Jedi Master renowned for his patience, sincerity, character and knowledge. For a moment, the bearer of the link will be as one with the deceased, seeing the world as the master did, partaking in a 'memory' and re-enactment of the masters life and interraction with others.
When the moment ends, the bearer will come forth, gifted with the deceased masters memories and knowledge of the force and powers now forgotten or forbidden by the jedi order. The bearer will also seem older, as if aged by about 10 years.
Note: This jedi should not be too eager to start practicing these new skills. If such eagerness is displayed, they will quickly find their memories fading, until nothing of the encounter is recalled. Should the bearer teeter towards the darkside over this eargerness or simply with time, the memories will fade and nothing will remain. The memories are guides like no other and the knowledge of those powers are sacred. Even sharing what was learned with another master is highly debatable, until the one who learned this has meditated intensely over what has been gained.
