Ivory_Dawn takes a seat in the council chamber wearing a dark grey silken suit in her favourite mandarin style. as always her eyes are hidden by black shades. a gesture of her and the huge double doors tot he chamber open and allow angelus to enter
JM•Charles•Rane sat next to Ivory, he was far less fashionable though. He awaited Angelus' arrival as well
Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ moves into the council chamber standing tall. Which was saying something, considering he was well over two meters tall. Today he was wearing a ceremonial kimono. At his waist, slipped into the sash was a ceremonial white katana, worn on special occasions. His hair was also pulled back tight and neatly into a tail. Wordlessly he moves into the center of the room, facing his peers on the council. He waits patiently, his glowing blue eyes rather noticeable today. He does however, nod/bow his head in respect to those before him.
Ivory_Dawn greetings knight relslef, do you know why you were called before the council?" she asks with a calm and friendly voiceJM•Charles•Rane does not speak in greeting as Ivory, but returns the head bow in silence as Ivory spoke
Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ tilts his head again respectfully. "I do." He says simply. There was no point in elaborating further, they all knew the purpose of the meeting. They had called him here to test his knowledge of the living force, and how well he lived among its principles. At least that was he had thought it was.
Ivory_Dawn should the council decide that you should obtain the rank of master int he future, what would you do with the rank and the responsibiltiy that comes with it?" her voice remains neutral but kind
»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : My mission will remain the same. To serve the Jedi, and the people of the galaxy and Naboo to the best of my ability. If the council wishes to defer upon me more duties I will always accept, and preform them as well as I am able. If the council decides to defer upon me the rank, I cannot say that much will change. I will forever be a seeker of knowledge and a defender of peace.
JM•Charles•Rane nodded "Many are well suited in the Force and the ways of the Jedi. You have been with the order for quite a long time... Would you say that you find it easy to stay true to your path?"
»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : The path laid out to me by the Force is what guides me, brings me through situations. The difficulty does not exist. It is only if we set such limitations to ourselves, do things become easy, or impossible. I have tried to keep such limitations away from my thoughts as much as possible, and listen to the will of the Force.
JM•Charles•Rane considered him as he would leave the moment open for Ivory now
Ivory_Dawn : are you able to kill knight angelus?
»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : I do not relish the idea. I believe that killing is only to be used as a last resort. When all other options have failed. If you are asking me if I am capable of taking life... such a question has a complicated answer. I avoid confrontation when possible. And avoid ending lives as much as possible.
JM•Charles•Rane : Naboo has seen it's share of invasions. Whether it is a resident Darksider, or an opposing planetary government. While we have to keep the peace here, the Jedi are sent to many different worlds int he galaxy. Have you ever come across a circumstance where the best option might go against the Jedi code? If not, how do you feel one such as ourselves, especially as a Master, should constructively deal with that situation? What would you rely on to help you?
»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : You speak of the code as if it is an absolute. If it were so, why are we asked to define it, to interpret it? I see the code as more... a guide. A set of principles. But is it not the force that guides us? If we are in such situations, quieting the mind to listen to the force, our own internal personae, and our experience, is the only way to possibly handle such situations. As we well know it is impossible to predict the future with unerring accuracy. In order to know what would work in a situation, one must be in that situation. In the end, we must be like water. Like the living force itself. Ever changing, ever flexible.
Ivory_Dawn you know there are several planets out there in the galaxy, where the law permitts killing of everyone at anyone time and anywhere. other worlds declared jedi as outlaw. how does that go to together with the fact that jedi have sworn to uphold the law?" she asks, no emotions readable in her pale face. “and how would you act if you have to go to such a place?»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : Such a question is indeed another complicated answer. I do not have an answer to how i would react... how I would get by on a world such where I am a criminal? There are so many variables, too many to plan for at one time. All that is presented to me is to follow the will of the Force. When we quiet our mind, and open our senses, we find it is a great guide.
JM•Charles•Rane : To stick to the idea of diplomacy, the Republic is rebuilding at the present time. Would you suggest the Jedi have a role in this? What should it be or not be?
Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : If we are to be part of the Republic, if we are to be its protectors then perhaps the Jedi should be part of it. But as a separate entity. All we can do is offer guidance and advice. If we were to shape it completely in our image, would that not be against the idea that we are all equal? Our ideals may not work well for some. But yes, perhaps we should offer our services in an advisory and mediation.
Ivory_Dawn : imagine you’re on a lone planet. you find a child, a sith and a ship that can carrie only two of you away from the planet youre on, what will you do?
Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : What is, and has the Sith done?
Ivory_Dawn : were talking about a sith, who has killed before in cold blodd and will do so again without remorse
»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : If the sith is attacking me, subdue and capture them. Request for another Jedi send a ship to pick the prisoner up, and then bring the child to safety.
JM•Charles•Rane : It has been quite sometime since you took the trials to become a Knight. Can you tell us how you've grown as a Knight?
»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : In terms of the years, they certainly have brought me experience. A closer connection to the Force, perhaps more knowledge as a result. Perhaps, indeed, my temperament has changed. I have become more at peace with myself, and the surrounding galaxy. As well as a readier student of the living force, and the knowledge and wisdom of the galaxy.
Ivory_Dawn : knight relslef, tell us a situation in your life that you were able to solve witht he help of the jedi code
Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ : The death of my first master, Shatara. It was a growing experience for me, and for many years I thought on the Force, and how we never truly die. We simply return to the unifying energy that surrounds us all. Once I was able to come to peace with that, I saw that there really is no death. there is the force.
Ivory_Dawn looks over to charles to see if charles has any more questions?
JM•Charles•Rane "I have no further questions." he stood and offered a bow "Thank you, Knight Relslef." he offered a warm smile
Ivory_Dawn rises as well and inclines her head " thank you knight relslef" with that angelus is allowed to leave
»Åñgëlü§•Rêlšlꃫ tilts his head "Thank you masters. And May the Force be With You."
Ivory_Dawn : and with you
JM•Charles•Rane : With you as well.

Councilor Ivory Dawn's Vote:
ok, my verdict
he was a bit "spongy" as in not to defined, it was still in char. he was in the test as he plays angelus. the test being short had two reasons, one of them me falling asleep. either way
i give a pass

Councilor Charles Rane's Vote:
I think he did the best possible on the future/outlook questions. Those are tricky, no matter who ya are, lol
I am very certain he knows his Jedi path and force powers well, having seen him rp them quite nicely.
I like how he is very upfront and honest about his reliance in the guiding ways of the Force. Things were simply stated and that to me is efficiency and lack of headache for all of us.
I gladly offer him the rank of Master Jedi. aka PASS

Councilor Sojhie's Vote:
I'm sorry, I can't pass him. i just can't.
His answers are much too vague, the test way too short and there were no questions on his understanding of the code and how it applies to his life, no questions on any weaknesses he's had that may impede on his place as a master.
For a Knight test... totally fine, but not for a master. It is much too vague, much. To pass a master we need to expect a lot clearer.
I am not denying Angelus is a good RPer and a good person, but I'm sorry... we can't just bounce people through as masters and lower standards required to be one, if we do we are just going to have the age old problem of Jedi not following the code or turning sides.
So yeah, a no for me.

Councilor Unega Wohali's Vote:
while his answers may have been vague at some points, I believe he has what it takes to serve as a JM within the order. He was definitely on point with a couple of things. I remember when I tested for Master, so I know it's not an easy thing to accomplish. If my vote counts for anything, I'd have to say ....... PASS
