These lenses are made from a refined crystal that has been atuned with the force. They fit over the eyes much like contact lenses. Once worn they bond with the wearer becoming a part of the eyes. They can not be lost or stolen though they can be pillaged off a dead body.
Once worn, they offer the wearer night vision and allows the vision of the wearer to pierce illusions that do not affect his/her mind (a hologram or illusion force power would appear ghostly and transparent while an image in their mind would be unaffected).
To counteract this, the lenses glow slightly (candle-bright) and make spotting the wearer in the dark easier. They do not work if the owner is cut off from the force (they will cease to glow but remain a part of the eyes and glow when the force is felt again).
