Posting this here to make it official. Yes, I am willing to use my request slots for this since it's likely not going to be used by much else.
Upgraded NSF armor to a very light power armor made of Amorplast (same durability as durasteel but half the weight) and Armorweave (this is supposed to be a saber-resistant cloth). The armor is capable of...
-Taking 2-3 blaster hits to the torso or head (1-2 from a high-powered rifle)
-the rest of the body can withstand 1-2 blaster hits (0-1 from a high-powered rifle)
-a GLANCING strike from a saber removes one blaster hit (not a blocked or direct hit... but one that just scrapes the armor, a direct hit cuts through it like a hot vibroknife through butter).
-Protects against ALL slugthrowers
-protects against melee attacks up to x3 human strength (a wookie will still get through this)
-offers no protection from vibro weapons or explosions.
-a 10 hour air supply is hidden inside the back of the armor that hooks up to a hose (which tucks under the armor and up into the helmet) and protects the officer from gass attacks (since they will work on 8 hour shifts)
Each suit comes with a helmet that has...
-night/thermal vision toggles
-a translator unit built in so they can understand and have the helmet translate what they say into any language (that does not need permission to know of course, like a protocol droid)
-internal comm unit
-audio/video recording units
There is room for one pistol, one carbine/rifle, one knife, and four grenades with this uniform... the grenades will be stun and ion unless in war time, then they will all be fragmentation if not Thermal Detonators.
