Mandalorian Character/Gear

I'd like to just say that I'm going to go ahead and post the entire character profile in here just in case anyone finds anything that would need requesting that I wouldn't know about. First thing would be that this is a Mandalorian character with a Mandalorian surname. Secondly would be the typical Mandalorian armor made from Quantum-crystalline alloy. Which is resistant (though not invulnerable to) to laser weaponry, i.e. blasters and lightsabers. But, the biggest thing that I am concerned with getting approval or not would be the gauntlets that I want to be forged from Purified Cortosis. Which was used in the drafting of Sith Swords. Basically my only-line of defense against lightsabers. I figured that if I could get Purified Cortosis approved, that making an entire armor out of it would be extremely unbelievable. So, I just stuck with trying to get the gauntlets approved. I also wanted him to be able to wield a lightsaber, since it was said that mny non-Force users actually managed to get their hands on them from fallen Jedi and Dark Jedi. And the last bit would be the ship. If I could get the gear and ship approved, I'd be very appreciative.

Well, I kind of thought the armor and gauntlets would be the same thing considering that the gauntlets are still Mandalorian armor, just crafted with a different material.

Beyond that, cirtosis is a banned substance.

Not that I mind having to change it, because I'm more than willing to make any alterations... But, it seems like banning Cortosis just because a force user's lightsaber won't work seems rather petty. It's not like if a Jedi's lightsaber turns off, that they are completely and utterly useless. So what if their lightsaber turns off when the energy blade comes in contact with the material? Does that mean they lose their force powers as well? It just seems like having the ability to PREVENT something offensive is a taboo here. Which I think should never be an issue. Sure, no one should be walking around with a full body armor made of Cortosis, but the material shouldn't be banned either. Especially with Sith around, whom used it all the time in forging swords and armor. So, even if "I" don't get allowed to use it, it shouldn't be a banned material for someone deserving of wielding it in a single item.

1, There are still saber resistant items out there.
2, NO ONE has it, no sith, no jedi, no dark jedi, no mandolorians, no one.
3, This has been the rule for 5 years, I doubt arguing it will change it... mana might discuss it soon, but I dont think it'll be 'okay'ed
4, lastly, if you want it for the simple use of disabling a lightsaber, there are other methods... just look up how a lightsaber works and you'll find some neat ones that you can do without a request.

- Micro energy field projector Bring this up with the crystalline alloy and be specific with what it does
