OOC question regarding republic

Can anyone join the republic if they have a planet and a senator? I always liked political rp and I really would like to get in on it again. I still have an original planet and a senator from way back in the days of the Alliance and I'd be happy to have it join the republic if possible. I'll also toss in some general info about the planet, system and it's inhabitants when/if I join.

yep you can coco, and if we keep old rules up then you can have one planet per typist who you be senator for
