This is exactly what I am requesting, of course in a matching pair which is how they are used. The blade would be violet not red.
The metal is is composed of is Phrik which is a Lightsaber resistant metal. This is so during spins and moves if they should happen to bump they would not cut each other in half. This also allows the full length of both hilt and blade to be used to defend.
These cannot be used for powerful strikes or slashes but smaller more precise attacks.
